François-Henri Pinault, born May 28, 1962 Rennes, Brittany, France, is a French businessman and the chief executive officer of PPR. He is the son of the company's founder, businessman François Pinault. Often nicknamed ‘FHP’, he is also Director of Financière Pinault, as well as the President of Artémis' executive board.

François-Henri Pinault graduated from HEC School of Management in 1985, and did his military service in the French Consulate Economic Expansion station in Los Angeles (United States) [1] , during which he was in charge of studying fashion and new technology sectors in the States.
He joined the Pinault group in 1987.[2]
He is the Chairman and CEO of PPR, which was formerly known as Pinault-Printemps-Redoute.
In 2009 Pinault became a Zeitz Foundation Ambassador for Commerce. Ambassadors help raise awareness and shape activities in their respective dimension.
Pinault is married to actress Salma Hayek.[3] Their daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault, was born on September 21, 2007. She is Hayek's first, but Pinault's fourth. Pinault has two children, François and Mathide, from his first marriage.[4] The couple announced on July 18, 2008, that they had called off their engagement but later reconciled. On Valentine's Day 2009, Pinault and Hayek were married in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in Paris. On April 25, 2009, they were married for the second time in Venice.[5] On July 1st, 2011, it was confirmed that Pinault is also the father of model Linda Evangelista's son, Augustin James Evangelista, born on October 11, 2006.[6]
